Letter from CEO

Christina KisleyFriends and Colleagues,
Thank you for your interest in our organization. As you explore our website, it will be evident that at Life-Long Leadership we are passionate about equipping and developing leaders. Our purpose is to develop both the character and competence of leaders so that they are able to achieve excellence in both their personal and professional lives.

Embrace the Leadership Challenge

Leadership is more than a job title or a box on an organizational chart. Anytime you engage in impacting the thoughts and/or behaviors of others in order to achieve a desired outcome, you are actively participating in the leadership process. Leadership is influence. We are all responsible to lead in some area of our lives, whether it is in our homes, communities or organizations. Leadership is a responsibility. Accepting the reality that each of us is called to lead and being purposeful about our thoughts and actions in order to positively impact others is a challenge. Choose to lead in a way that positively impacts others.

Know Yourself. Know your Purpose. Live It Passionately.

We believe that an individual's leadership style is unique to who he or she is; there is no one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter model for, or approach to, leadership. Know yourself. Understand what drives you - understand how you show up in the world and how you impact the people around you. Each of us has a purpose in this life; we all have something great to contribute to the world in which we live. Know your purpose and live it passionately. Identify your unique gifts and talents, strive to turn them into strengths and pursue the opportunities that allow you to contribute them daily in every aspect of your life.

Excellence in Leadership

The ability to positively influence others and inspire them to desire and achieve excellence radiates from a powerful mix of character and competence. The heart of a leader is experienced through the demonstration of character; competence is experienced through the leader's decisions, behaviors and results. In order to realize the leadership potential within your organization, Life-Long Leadership has identified guiding principles that describe what Excellence in Leadership looks like.

These competencies define the character qualities, knowledge, skills and performance abilities that we purposefully seek to develop through our workshops and other service offerings. When you intentionally develop the character and competence of the leaders in your organization, you develop individuals with a heart for leadership and a corporate culture of integrity and excellence.

Take a moment to check out our website. It is our hope that you will gain a vision for the future of leadership in your company. We look forward to partnering with you to equip and develop the leaders in your organization. Give us a call and let's talk.

Achieving excellence together,
Christina M. Kisley
