Barbara Leahy has been a consulting partner with Life-Long Leadership, Inc. since 2006 and currently serves in various capacities within the team. Barbara is a member of the leadership team where she serves as Client Relations Officer providing service, solutions, and support to numerous Life-Long Leadership clients. Barbara also facilitates leadership, teambuilding, and Myers Briggs Type Indicator workshops on behalf of L3.
Prior to joining L3, Barbara founded Leahy Group in 2005; Leahy Group provided training and development to some well-known Atlanta clients including The Home Depot and Manheim, a division of Cox Communications.
From 1992 to 2004, Barbara worked at the headquarters of The Home Depot, Inc. where she held numerous positions, each with increasing responsibility, within the human resources and training departments. During her tenure, Barbara designed, developed, and delivered programs to meet assessed management and leadership needs including leadership development, 360 assessment process, succession planning, time management, presentation and communication skills, diversity, and one-on-one leadership coaching.
Barbara graduated from Kennesaw State College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Communications. She is also Myers Briggs Type Indicator qualified. Serving in the community, Barbara is an active volunteer with Parents Partnered for Preemies at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Originally from Framingham, Massachusetts, Barbara currently resides with her husband and daughter in Atlanta, Georgia.
