Dana McArthur, President of McArthur & Associates

Dana McArthur has a deep passion for creating learning experiences that achieve business results while engaging the intelligence and commitment of the participants. Organizations value his creative approach, whether it is in his design of learning content or the way he facilitates groups. Individuals enjoy his relaxed style and sense of humor while teaching large groups or facilitating teams.

Dana has designed and implemented leadership and development programs for employees in a range of clients including high technology, retail, manufacturing and education. His learning designs have addressed a host of business and leadership topics such as change management, conflict resolution, performance management, coaching and consultative selling.

In the past two years Dana has designed and developed an emerging leaders program for managers within Volvo of North America and helped orchestrate the worldwide rollout of an advanced development program for Flextronics, including supporting the handoff of the program to an internal team.

Prior to his work as an external consultant, Dana served for seven years as the head of Leadership Development for a major division of The Home Depot. He had responsibility for delivering a full curriculum of leadership offerings including change acceleration, preparation for new store openings, situational leadership and effective selling and merchandising.

Dana began his career in the field of learning and development as a trainer for ExecuTrain, where he had global responsibility for delivering computer training within 23 countries.

Dana earned a B.B.A in Management from Kennesaw State University. He holds multiple certifications from FranklinCovey, Grove International, and the Ken Blanchard Company. Dana lives in Woodstock, GA with his wife and two children.
