Living the Choice

If you've been through CHOOSE TO LEAD I & II, LIVING THE CHOICE I & II will challenge participants to practice what they've learned, apply insights they've gained and take their leadership edge to the next level.

LIVING THE CHOICE I digs deeper into the complexity of personality type by helping participants learn to lead their direct reports as individuals. Leaders will learn how to continuously invest in employee development, uncover and utilize individual giftedness and create team passion around organizational issues. Participants will learn to:

  • apply what they know about their MBTI preferences in order to gain greater self-awareness and insight into others' perceptions of themselves (MBTI Step II information is used in both LIVING THE CHOICE I & II)
  • use a coaching process that empowers their direct reports to solve challenging problems and execute solutions
  • diagnose motivational issues by viewing an employee through personal, professional and organizational lenses and use personal passion to inspire action in others

In LIVING THE CHOICE II, participants spend three intense days gaining personal behavioral insight and learning applicable skills to address a leader’s most challenging, yet inevitable, situations: change management and conflict resolution. During this workshop, participants will:

  • gain additional insight and create heightened self-awareness about how they act and interact during change and conflict
  • learn and apply a seven-step change model during a high-stress change management situation
  • apply a framework for managing the strong emotions that arise during conflict and learn how to create win-win solutions that meet the needs of all parties involved through using a model of conflict resolution
