Barbara has been in the field of Leadership Development for over 25 years. She is at her best when she is coaching, working with teams, facilitating sessions, and generally spending time with her clients helping them learn to be the best version of themselves. Her clients would tell you that she has the ability to share truth in a caring, safe, non-judgmental manner - always with the intent to help them grow.

Serving as VP of Client Development since 2006, Barbara designs, develops, and delivers leadership and team development programs in addition to working with clients through one-on-one leadership coaching. She is MBTI certified and uses tools like StrengthsFinder as part of the self-awareness process.

Prior to joining L3, Barbara founded Leahy Group, a training and development firm that worked with The Home Depot and Manheim, a division of Cox Communications. Before that, she worked at The Home Depot for 12 years, serving in various human resources roles focused on leading, growing, and developing talent.

Barbara is an active member of The Temple's Social Justice committee, focusing on criminal justice, poverty and economic justice, and voting rights. A self-prescribed growth junkie, she loves to read, learn, and work on herself. Originally from Framingham, Massachusetts, she graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Business Communications and currently lives in Atlanta with her husband, daughter, and the cutest Goldendoodle in the world, Oliver.
