Prior to her work in this field, Sarah was an educator for six years. During this time, Sarah served students with special needs as an intervention specialist. In this role, she instructed students based on individual needs, wrote Individualized Education Plans, and teamed with parents and therapy staff in order to create the most effective environment for student growth.

This team helped to create plans through parent, teacher, and team discussion for students who were struggling in an academic or behavioral area. As a member of this team, Sarah helped organize and execute interventions as well as serve as a liaison between staff members and the team.

Sarah received her bachelor's degree in Special Education from Bowling Green State University and her master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton.

She currently resides with her husband and two children in Columbus, Ohio. When she is not busy with family events, Sarah enjoys scrapbooking and serving the community with her Ladies' Outreach Group at church.
